EAST Geelong has overcome some woeful inaccuracy in front of goal and a determined Bannockburn to leapfrog the Tigers into second spot on the GDFL ladder with a 24-point win at Victoria Park.

The Eagles had 33 scoring shots to 14 in claiming a 10.23 (83) to 9.5 (59) victory, which snapped a 10-game losing streak against Bannockburn and was their first win on the Tigers’ turf since 2013.
